JOB SUMMARY: The HR Coordinator will provide administrative support to the HR staff, employees, and managers across Wingspan Care Group and its affiliates. This position requires excellent time management, communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality while prioritizing their workload. He or she will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects, support employees, and assist HR leadership as needed. The HR Coordinator must be able to network and build relationships and provide primary administrative support while working on other projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1. Serve as a point of contact to Agency employees by answering questions and providing guidance as needed, in accordance with human resources rules and regulations.
  2. File and maintain confidential documents (hard and soft copies) as well as employee files to ensure all information is updated and stored accordingly.
  3. Support Talent Acquisition as needed, particularly with ensuring candidates are onboarded smoothly and compliantly per Agency regulations as well as assisting with resume reviews and ensuring quality candidates are passed along to Agency leaders.
  4. Assist with day to day operations of the HR administrative functions and duties; including but not limited to, leaves of absence, worker’s compensation, unemployment claims, loan forgiveness, subpoenas, and motor vehicle compliance.
  5. Support in the development, editing, and implementation of job descriptions, policies, employment agreements, and other HR-related documentation.
  6. Assist with employee investigations and disciplinary actions in compliance with Agency policies and applicable laws as needed.
  7. Assist in benefits administration as needed, including health insurance and retirement systems. Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits eligibility, enrollment, and compensation policies.
  8. Support initiatives that promote a respectful, professional, and inclusive workplace culture.
  9. Contribute to the development and maintenance of Agency systems through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable legal, licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  10. Process documentation and prepare reports relating to HR activities and regulatory requirements (training, workplace injuries, labor statistics, credentialing, and licensure).


OTHER DUTIES:
 
  1. Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.
  2. All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  3. Respect the privacy of employees and hold in confidence all information obtained during the application/employment process.  All employment-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
  4. Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
  5. Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  1. Education:  Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing or related discipline.
  2. Licensure:  None
  3. Skills/Competencies:

4.     Experience: 0-1 years’ work or internship experience in Human Resources.
