Director of Grants Administration works closely with the Division Director to support the priorities of the Wingspan Care Group and its agencies.  The primary functions are to identify funding opportunities, draft requests and to coordinate the administration of grants to ensure timely stewardship and reporting. This position works closely with the Division of Finance, the Director of Grants and Foundation Relations as well as leadership from all Wingspan affiliates.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who understands the complexities of grant systems and can effectively navigate them to bring together various teams and stakeholders. Experience with the federal grant process is a plus. They excel in managing multiple projects, ensuring compliance, and fostering relationships with both internal and external partners. With strong financial acumen, clear communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, they ensure that grant funds are allocated and administered efficiently while meeting all necessary regulations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1. Identify grant funding opportunities, that align with the mission of WCG and its agencies, from private and public sources.
  2. Research, develop, write, and edit proposals to foundations, corporations, individual donors, and government entities to secure funding.  
  3. Coordinate with Finance, Risk Management and other WCG Divisions as needed to prepare budgets, budget narratives, and other documentation required for application submissions.
  4. Working closely with the Director of Foundation Relations, maintain an agency calendar of deadlines, including submission deadlines, reports and renewals.
  5. In coordination with the Director of Foundation Relations and other WCG divisions, develop and manage grants management tracking system.
  6. Maintain the grants management tracking system and coordinate with Division Directors, Finance and other related divisions to ensure timely stewardship, reporting and renewals.
  7. In coordination with the Director of Foundation Relations, maintain credentials with public entities (i.e. SAMHSA, OHMAS, ODE.Etc..) essential for submitting applications and securing revenue.
  8. Working closely with the Director of Organizational Development, draft communication, concept papers and the like.

OTHER DUTIES:
  1. Attend scheduled staff meetings, Board and Board Committee meetings, supervision, and on-going training as requested.
  2. All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards. 
  3. Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures. 
  4. Other duties as assigned by management.
Salary range is $80,000-$90,000 depending on years of experience 

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Education:   Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
  2. Licensure:    none

    8. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate competence in utilizing Agency computer systems and software as required to perform essential job functions.         
  4. Experience:  Minimum 5-7 years of successful grant writing experience. Federal grant experience is a plus
       5. Other: Travel and work evenings and weekends as needed.
